One of the nice things about the Honda Ridgeline that I have is the built in ipod cable. Unfortunately, it has older circuitry in it which doesn’t support charging in the iPhone 3G or newer ipods. Enter Scosche.
This simple $35 adaptor re-wires the cable’s charging function appropriately for the iPhone. The trip up to las vegas for CTIA today has been really easy with all the content on the iPhone and keeping the phone charged with the cable.
Wouldn’t it be great if the iPhone came with a more universal data connector like mini-USB or something? That would make the need for fiddly adapters unnecessary.
