I found this very interesting when looking at my AT&T account today. I have
2 accounts with them, and both are showing that I can get discounted
upgrades in just over a week. The strange thing is that both of the
accounts are not eligible for well over a year for upgrades according to the
normal AT&T upgrade criteria. At this point, I’m not sure what any of this
means, but I’m guessing we’ll all soon find out.
So question – if you have AT&T, what is your account showing for a
discounted upgrade date?
For me there’s no change on the 4 phones on our account since last time I checked a few weeks ago. 2 phones eligible now, 1 next month, 1 in November 2010 (just got my wife a BJ2 last month).
None of us have iPhones, so maybe the upgrade options you are seeing are only for iPhone users.
That is my thought. That this is happening to those that have the iPhone.
