Happy Thanksgiving!
I wanted to make a quick post to wish everyone out there a happy Thanksgiving. This has been a great year for me and my family, and I thank God for everything that he has given us. Sure, we aren’t without our hard times, but we will definitely make it through.
In this time of thanks, I hope everyone is having a great day!

Photos of our house, finally furnished!
Head on over to http://mickeyp.gotdns.com:81/2007-11-17 to check out the latest photos of our house, finally with furniture! We have spent the last 5 months getting everything that we wanted and needed into the house and finally had a small gathering yesterday to celebrate and toast our new place. We are very fortunate to be able to have the roof over our head that we do, and I couldn’t ask for anything more!
AZ Mobility Today Meetup
Make sure you check out The Cell Phone Junkie website to hear an impromptu show that Dave, Steve and I recorded during a meet-up tonight here in Arizona. Also, the direct download can be found HERE.
Curve
I’m back in Phoenix and the Tilt has gone back. I did like the device as a whole, but for day to day use, it just wouldn’t cut it.
That being said, I’ve moved on to the Blackberry Curve 8310. I like the stability of the OS and love the email capabilities that BB allows. I think that BB will be the OS for me for a while.
More on this on the next TCPJ show!
Tilt
Although I am sitting in a hotel rom in Las Vegas typing this post out on the ATT Tilt, I still wonder if this is the device for me. The poor battery life can be overcome, but my thought is that I will never be happy with only 1 day of use.
One additional thing that has come up is the serice on the phone. the number of dropped calls that I have had since I got the phone have been fairly high. I don’t know if this goes back to the whole using HSDPA and then te phone switches to EDGE, but I am not happy with it.
And finally, what I thought was going to be a great keyboard has turned out to be lackluster and unresponsive. I’m sure there are misspelled words in this post, and for the majority, they are misspelled because there would be a letter missing. this is because the keyboard does a bad job of picking up all the keys that are pressed. something that reminds me of my Motorola Q.
Which reminds me, my hands are starting to cramp from holding this thing. Let me know if you have any thoughts on what to possibly get next. I’m putting the Curve up against the iPhone. Surely one of those would be a better choice.
