What a great trip!

After 9 days of fun away from home, we are headed back to Phoenix this afternoon.  We spent time with both sides of the family and had a lot of fun relaxing from our hectic lives.  We are certainly grateful for everything that we have and the opportunity to spend time with the ones that we love!

Now, back to watching the Vikings game and getting ready to head to the airport.

Want to know what I’ve been up to on this first part of the vacation?  Click HERE to view the photos from our weekend in Door County.  The past 2 days have been spent relaxing in Minneapolis with my father.  Looking forward to some rain tonight to cool things down a bit.  This is fall in the midwest ya know!

A view from today

We did a lot of shopping around the Sister Bay and Egg Harbor Wisconsin areas today.  One of the places we went was Horseshoe Bay Farms golf club to make golf reservations for Tuesday morning.  I was met with this beautiful vista and had to share it.  I haven’t been up here in about 7 years, I forget how beautiful the Door peninsula is!  Especially coming from the brown desert, this is paradise for us!
