Motorola Q battery life observation
So I have an interesting observation that I wanted to share. I recently (2 weeks ago) moved locations for my job, and am now in a location that is underneath 2 levels of building. The reception for Verizon in here is quite poor, but most calls still ring through. The thing that is interesting for me is that I have noticed my phone has been burning through batteries much quicker than before. Basically, I would have a fully charged extended battery on the device and would see it down to 1 bar by the end of 8 hours. Just for the sake of trial, I decided to see how long it really will last. Last night, I put on a new battery right before I was on the Mobility Today talkcast. 1 hour of talktime down. Then I talked to my wife for 30 minutes while she was driving home. I went to bed but did not put the phone on the charger. This morning I got up and the phone was at 3 bars. I came to work and immediately the phone went down to 2 battery bars, and then around 10am down to 1 bar. Since then, I have made 5-10 minutes of phone calls, had 20-25 emails come in and the phone is still at 1 bar.
I am happy to see that the battery survives, but the meter seems to be unreliable! Anyone else see this with thier Q?
